How does Cashback work

  How do Cashback offers work?  

To access Cashback offers and get the Cashback you need a Hero Wallet account and a Hero Wallet Visa debit card. To find this in the Employment Hero app, follow the below instructions:

1. Open the Employment Hero app. If you do not have the app yet, click here to download the Employment Hero app.
2. Tap on Money icon.
3. Tap on the Benefits icon.
4. Tap on Cashback.
5. Scroll through the Cashback offers.
6. Once you've made your selection, tap on the selection.
7. Tap on Shop Now. 
8. Once you have completed your purchase on the vendor website, your Cashback will immediately deposit into your Hero Wallet account. 

You can check on your list of transactions and their status in the Employment Hero app. After the Cashback approval timeframe has passed, the Cashback will deposit into your Hero Wallet account. 

  How long does it take to receive my Cashback?  

Purchases made online via the app may take 30-90 days before the Cashback deposits into your Hero Wallet account. You can check the status of a Cashback at any time in the app.

  I need to return what I purchased - will I get to keep my Cashback?  

Returning or exchanging items on a Cashback order will void any Cashback earnings.

  Where are my card details stored?  

Your card details are encrypted on the device and securely sent to our Cashback partner. Card details are only ever displayed in part to identify cards in the Employment Hero app. Employment Hero does not store your card details in any form. Any information is handled in accordance with our data and privacy policies.

  How do I find businesses offering discounts?  

You can search for the name of your favourite businesses or stores inside the Cashback offers section of the app. You can find the instructions as to how to find this in the Employment Hero app here.
